I’m a big fan of Stefan Sagmeister’s work and approach to life and design. His book “Made You Look” beautifully presents his work while also being a great piece of design and expression. At TED 2008 Stefan discussed how, every seven years, he closes the studio for a full year - to pursue personal projects, experiment, collaborate and reflect.
